The service
Maprehension is a free online tool from Commercial Property Marketing for creating styled maps. We may change, pause or discontinue features at any time. If we introduce paid features later, the free features described on this site remain free.
Your content
You keep all rights to the brand artwork you load and the maps you make. Make sure you’re allowed to use any logos and brand assets you load into the tool.
Map data and attribution
Map data © OpenStreetMap contributors, available under the Open Database Licence. Map tiles © MapTiler. You must keep the attribution shown on exported maps when you publish them. Free exports also include a small “Made with CPM Maprehension” mark.
Fair use
Don’t abuse the service: no automated bulk exporting, scraping, attempts to break or overload it, or using it to build a competing map tile service.
No warranty
Maprehension is provided free and “as is”, without warranties of any kind. Map data can be incomplete or out of date: check locations, boundaries and distances before relying on them, especially in marketing material. To the extent the law allows, CPM isn’t liable for any loss arising from using the tool or its maps.
